Eligibility for AIF Grant

A university, whether it is public or private, must have minimum intake of 100 students in undergraduate academic programs to be considered as eligible for receiving AIF grants. In addition to that, for a public university, there must be an act which established the institution as a university. On the other hand, a private university must have to fulfill the following additional conditions:

A government Provisional Charter allowing to function under the Private University Act.
A permanent campus/establishment owned by the university.
Reserve fund in a scheduled bank as stipulated in the act
Holding of at least one convocation.
Availability of audited financial statement not older than previous two years.
